Which Gauge?
Gauge refers to the size (or thickness) of the wire. The higher
the gauge number, the thinner the wire. Beadworks carries wire
from 18g to 28g.
- 18g-20g: Suitable for large beads and making
your own findings.
- 22g-24g: Perfect for most earrings and jewelry
projects. Headpins are available in these sizes.
- 26g-28g: Used for delicate projects such as knitting with
wire and wrapping small briolettes.
