Leather Suede Silk
Leather - Greek cowhide which is dyed and formed into 1.5mm and 2.0mm beading cord. Used with large beads and coil crimps. Suede - Cowhide which is dyed and formed into a flat suede cord. Used with large beads and fold-over crimps. Silk - Silk for knotting comes in various sizes for different sized beads. Gudebrod® Silk is available in spools and Griffin® Silk comes on cards with a pre-strung twisted wire needle.
Waxed Linen Waxed Cotton Hemp
Waxed Linen - A thin linen cord that has a waxed surface for durability. Can be used for stringing and micro macramé. Comes in many colors. Waxed Cotton - A thicker, woven cord that is lightly waxed for durability. Can be used with coil crimps or fold over crimps. Hemp - A strong, environmentally friendly fiber, hemp is used for macramé, stringing, knitting, and crocheting. Several thicknesses and colors are available.
